3 killed in PKK bombing near Turkey's Diyarbakir

Two Turkish police officers and a child were killed on Monday in a car bombing outside the southeastern city of Diyarbakir blamed on Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) rebels, local officials said.
The blast hit a police control post on the highway leading southeast from Diyarbakir to the city of Batman, the local governor's office said in a statement, adding that 25 people were wounded including five police officers.
