Austria is also investigating possible spying during nuclear talks between Iran and world powers, a spokesman said after Swiss authorities confirmed they were probing similar claims.
"Investigations are ongoing" regarding the Palais Coburg hotel, the location of numerous rounds of the talks including discussions this week, interior ministry spokesman Karl-Heinz Grundboeck told AFP, confirming information from the Austria Press Agency.
