Balkan border restrictions violate refugee convention

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is concerned by the increasing number of border restrictions targeting migrants in the Balkans, his spokesman said Friday.
The border rules in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Macedonia "are not in line" with an international convention on refugees, said Stephane Dujarric.
