Cuba's President Raul Castro confirmed on Wednesday that Washington and Havana will reopen embassies as early as July 20, according to Cuban television.
Castro sent a letter to US President Barack Obama saying that "Cuba has decided to reestablish diplomatic relations with the United States and open permanent diplomatic missions in our respective countries, on July 20, 2015," official television said.
