Croatia on Thursday banned radical Serb leader Vojislav Seselj from entering the country, police said, a few hours after he was acquitted by a UN court of war crimes over the 1990s Balkans wars. "The interior ministry informed border police to deny Seselj entry into Croatia if he appears at a border crossing," police spokeswoman Helena Biocic told AFP, saying he could represent a threat to public order. Earlier, Croatia's prime minister condemned Seselj's acquittal as "shameful". |
