Several dozen activists occupied part of the Lebanese environment ministry on Tuesday, staging a sit-in to demand the environment minister resign, an employee and protesters said.
An activist with the "You Stink" movement that has organised mass protests in recent weeks said the sit-in was a "surprise" action and would not end until Environment Minister Mohammed Mashnuq stepped down.
