French deputy speaker resigns over sexual harassment claims

A deputy speaker of France's parliament, Denis Baupin, resigned on Monday over sexual harassment allegations that he vehemently denies.
Baupin of the ecologist EELV party, who is married to Housing Minister Emmanuelle Cosse, denies all the allegations from his four accusers and will sue the women for defamation, his lawyer said.
