One of three Americans who helped thwart a terror attack on a packed passenger train bound for Paris has been stabbed in California, US media reported.
CBS News first reported that Airman Spencer Stone had been "repeatedly stabbed." Quoting the US Air Force, NBC News said that Stone was in "stable condition" following the attack in Sacramento on Wednesday night.
Sacramento police said an assault had taken place Wednesday night but could not immediately confirm the victim's identity.
