Gambia's opposition coalition on Monday called on President Yahya Jammeh to step down immediately after he reversed his earlier decision to concede defeat following the December 1 presidential election. Speaking on behalf of president-elect Adama Barrow, coalition leader Mai Fatty told journalists: "We demand that outgoing President Jammeh immediately step down and hand over power." |
