German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday arrived in Moscow to commemorate Soviet soldiers killed in WWII after she stayed away from Russia's huge military parade to mark victory over Nazi Germany.
"She has arrived," a Russian official told AFP. In an apparent compromise, Merkel was set to lay a wreath at the grave of the Unknown Soldier after she skipped Saturday's Red Square parade amid a Western boycott over Ukraine.
