An Israeli was shot and seriously wounded near a Palestinian village in the south of the occupied West Bank on Friday, the army said.
"An Israeli was shot near the village of Beit Anon, south of Hebron," a statement said, adding that the male victim "sustained severe injuries" and forces were searching the area for the attacker.
