Kerry calls for 'genuine democracy' in Cuba

Secretary of State John Kerry urged Cuba to pursue true democracy Friday on a historic visit Friday to raise the American flag over the newly reopened US embassy in Havana.
Warning that Washington would not stop pressing for change on the communist island, Kerry said: "The people of Cuba would be best served by a genuine democracy, where people are free to choose their leaders."
