A Palestinian woman attempted to stab Israelis near the southern West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arab on Sunday before being shot, police and the army said.
"A stabbing attempt was thwarted," the Israeli army said in a statement, adding that the assailant was "shot" without providing her condition.
