An Israeli man shot and killed an 18-year-old Palestinian who tried to stab him in the flashpoint West Bank city of Hebron on Saturday, Palestinian security forces said.
The Israeli army confirmed that the Jewish passerby had been attacked and responded by opening fire on his assailant.
