PM: Russia confirms food embargo on Ukraine

Russia will introduce a food embargo against Ukraine from next month over Kiev's trade agreement with the EU, extending the punitive measure currently in place against Western countries, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
"These measures will be extended to Ukraine too" because no deal respecting Russia's trade interests had been reached, Medvedev said during a government meeting.
