Polls closed late Tuesday in Wisconsin, a potentially pivotal vote where frontrunners Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are struggling to prevent rivals from blocking their march to their parties' nominations.
According to exit polls broadcast by US networks, Republican Senator Ted Cruz and challenger for the Democratic nomination Senator Bernie Sanders were leading in the Wisconsin contest.
