Russia wants cooperation with US without coercion

Russia on Tuesday said it was ready to cooperate with the United States but stressed it would do so only on an "equal basis" and without coercion.
"Russia is ready for constructive cooperation with the United States both in the bilateral sphere and the international arena," the foreign ministry said after Moscow's top diplomat Sergei Lavrov met his US counterpart John Kerry. "However cooperation is only possible on an honest and equal basis, without attempts to dictate and coerce."
