Security was tightened Tuesday at Frankfurt airport, Germany's busiest hub, following twin blasts at Brussels' main airport, federal police said.
"I cannot say anything about the other airports," a spokeswoman for the force told AFP.
"We are still in the phase of assessing the situation -- I cannot say anything more, it is too fresh."
