The American mastermind behind the criminal website Silk Road was sentenced to life in prison by a US federal judge Friday.
Ross Ulbricht, 31, was sentenced for narcotics distribution and criminal enterprise by Judge Katherine Forrest, who gave him two life sentences, plus five years, 15 years and 20 years to be served concurrently.
