The man suspected of carrying out a shooting rampage and placing bombs at the Dallas police headquarters died after he was shot by snipers, authorities confirmed Saturday.
"#Breaking We can now confirm that the susp in the van is deceased but unable to confirm ID pending Med Ex. identification #DallasPDShooting," the Dallas Police Department wrote on its Twitter feed.
