Syria's opposition National Coalition said Thursday it backed a nationwide ceasefire brokered by Turkey and Russia that will take effect from midnight.
"The National Coalition expresses support for the agreement and urges all parties to abide by it," spokesman Ahmed Ramadan told AFP of the deal, which was announced earlier by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
