Taiwan's Ma urges mutual respect in talks with China's Xi

Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou told Chinese leader Xi Jinping that the two sides should practise mutual respect, as they met in the historic first leaders' talks since their 1949 civil war split.
"Both sides should respect each other’s values and way of life," Ma told Xi.
