President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he would be moving quickly to fill a US Supreme Court vacancy that has been open for almost a year. "We'll pick a truly great Supreme Court justice and I'll be announcing it sometime next week," Trump said in the Oval Office. A court seat has been open since justice Antonin Scalia died in February last year. Throughout that time Senate Republicans refused to give President Barack Obama's nominee a confirmation hearing. |
