The United States Wednesday presented a draft resolution to the UN Security Council asking it to endorse a historic deal curtailing Iran's nuclear program, diplomats said.
The draft text seeks formal UN approval for the ground-breaking agreement reached in Vienna on Tuesday, and would replace a slew of UN sanctions slapped on Tehran amid suspicions that it had sought to develop nuclear arms.
