Venezuela authorities postpone key recall vote meeting

Venezuela's electoral authorities have indefinitely postponed a meeting with President Nicolas Maduro's opponents on whether they can proceed with efforts to remove him in a referendum, the opposition said Thursday.
"We are going to announce to the nation the steps we will take in the face of this unprecedented situation," opposition spokesman Jesus Torrealba said. "We call on the Venezuelan people to remain calm."
