White House in final stages of plan to close Guantanamo Bay

The White House is in the "final stages" of a plan to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility, spokesman Josh Earnest said Wednesday.
The closure of the center is a national security interest and a priority for President Barack Obama, and administration officials are nearing the completion of a plan that would close the facility, Earnest told reporters.
