Commerzbank shares soared by around 14 percent in early trade on the Frankfurt stock exchange on Friday as investors welcomed the strong performance of Germany's second-biggest lender in 2015.
Commerzbank shares topped an intraday high of 7.29 eujros in the first few minutes of trading, a jump of 14.1 percent from the closing price on Thursday after the bank said that it quadrupled profits last year and will resume dividend payments.
