Bottas faces five-place grid penalty at British Grand Prix
Mercedes' Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas walks to his garage prior to second practice session at the Silverstone circuit in Silverstone, central England on July 14, 2017 ahead of Sunday's British Formula One Grand Prix
Silverstone - Al Maghrib Today
Valtteri Bottas, who was fastest in both of Friday's opening practice sessions, is set to be handed a five-place grid penalty for Sunday's British Grand Prix after an unscheduled gearbox change.
The Finn, who won last Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix after Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton received a five-place penalty for the same offence, will be unable to claim pole position if he is fastest again in qualifying on Saturday.
A team spokesperson confirmed the likely sanction late Friday after a dominant Bottas had excelled during practice at Silverstone.
The race stewards are expected to confirm all grid penalties later Saturday
Two-time champion Fernando Alonso is likely to be confirmed as starting from the back of the grid in his McLaren as the team plan to fit a new engine

To 'eternal style' of late Alaia
Paris - Al Maghrib Today
Two months after legendary designer Azzedine Alaia's sudden death plunged the fashion world into mourning, an exhibition in homage to the "King of Cling" opened Monday in his studios in Paris. The Tunisian-born designer, renowned for the way his clothes hugged the body, died suddenly in November aged 82, reportedly of heart failure after falling down the stairs at his home. The diminutive maverick, who ignored fashion week convention by showing when and where he wanted, in July produced his first couture collection in six years to rapturous reviews. Now some of his most iconic dresses are going on display in the glass-roofed gallery next to his studio and home in the Marais district where he used to show his creations. It includes the dress worn by supermodel Naomi Campbell, his longtime friend and muse, when she led hisGMT 09:22 2018 Monday ,22 January
