
Eva Longoria is joining the cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a three-episode arc that will air in November.
The Desperate Housewives star is set to play a defense attorney named Sophia, who clashes with Andy Samberg's character Detective Jake Peralta.
Longoria, 39, is one of the many celebrities set to guest star on Fox's Golden Globe-winning comedy. Kyra Sedgwick, Terrell Owens, Patton Oswalt and Jenny Slate will also have guest roles during the series' second season.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine follows a group of detectives who work in the fictional 99th Precinct of the NYPD in Brooklyn. The show stars Samberg, Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumero and Joe Lo Truglio and will return to the small screen for its second season on September 28.
