TV Land has pulled Dukes of Hazzard reruns from its schedule.
The network didn't say why it was pulling the show, which features a 1969 Dodge Charger with a Confederate flag painted on its roof. The flag has come under increased criticism as a symbol of racism after the fatal shooting of nine black worshipers at a Charleston, S.C., church.
Last week, Warner Bros. said it would no longer license toys or models of the car, known as the General Lee, driven by the Duke cousins in the 1980s show.
Ben Jones, who played Cooter on the show, came out in defense of the Confederate flag. Fans have rallied and created a petition on change.org asking Viacom, Warner Bros., eBay and Walmart to "stop banning" the popular show.
Reruns can still be streamed online or viewed on CMT.
