The death toll from a heatwave in Egypt has risen to 93 after five people died on Friday, the Health Ministry said.
"As many as 191 people were admitted to hospitals on Friday due to heat exhaustion," the ministry said in a statement.
It added that 121 cases have been discharged from hospitals while five cases died, taking the toll to 93 since the start of the heatwave in the country.
