
Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hossam Moghazy held a meeting with Sudanese counterpart Moataz Moussa to discuss agricultural integration projects between Egypt and Sudan.
The talks tackled building dams for rains and underground water wells as well as the construction and renovation of some bridges above waterways.
Following the meeting, Moussa said that the talks tackled the outcome of a meeting of the Permanent Joint Technical Commission on the Nile Water, held on January 16-23.
The meeting touched on a memorandum of understanding in the fields of water resources, which is due to be signed at the coming meeting of the joint Sudanese-Egyptian higher committee.
