
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Tuesday inspected the west Nile reclamation project in Horreya village of Qena governorate.
Mahlab, on board a helicopter, was accompanied by Local Development Minister Adel Labib, Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hossam Maghazi, Agriculture Minister Salah Eddin Hilal and Qena Governor Abdel Hamid el Haggan.
The project aims to reclaim 12,500 feddans through Marashda water plant, within the one-million feddans reclamation project launched by President Abdel Fattah El sisi.
