
The Nile Floods committee will hold an important meeting in the coming few days to monitor the indicators of the Nile River stream and its floods in the new water year.
The water year begins in August 1 and lasts till the end of July every year.
The meeting will be chaired by Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Hossam Moghazi.
It will discuss the Nile floods, and the Egyptian-Sudanese preparations to receive the overflow through making a daily report on its status from Ethiopia till Sudan then Lake Nasser and the High Dam.
They will also discuss the initial expectations for this year's flood.
