
Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi will carry out on Tuesday an inspection tour of Ismalia and North Sinai including the New Suez Canal project.
He will also visit the mechanical workshop affiliated to the ministry and will meet with engineers and workers in station number 5.
Moghazi will inspect some projects in el-Salam Lake which aim at providing water to North Sinai.
The irrigation minister said that 70,000 feddans in North Sinai are irrigated from el-Salam Lake's tunnel which extends under the Suez Canal with 45-meter depth.
