The Koraymat water pipeline broke Friday, halting the pumping of water to the cities of Ras Gharib and Hurghada, the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Waste Water (HCWW) in the Red Sea governorate said on Friday.
In a statement, the company urged citizens to rationalize water consumption until the completion of maintenance work.
Also, it sent a team of engineers and workers to repair the damage for water pumping to resume, the statement added.
