
Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussein bin Ali Mirza received Dr. Anwar Abdullah the Kingdom of Bahrain's Ambassador to the Peoples Republic of China who congratulated the Minister on the Royal trust of reappointing him as Energy Minister, expressing confidence in Dr. Mirza's capability to contribute with his capabilities and rich expertise in pushing the energy sectors to new advanced scopes, wishing him success in his huge duties.
The Minister of Energy and the Kingdom's Ambassador to China explored the outcomes of the fruitful visit undertaken by the delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain's oil, gas and petrochemicals sector to the People's Republic of China on December 15-16.
The Minister of Energy commended the huge efforts exerted by our ambassador in Beijing Dr. Anwar Abdullah who provided all success factors to that visit, stressing the importance of building on its outcomes and close follow-up of what had been agreed with Chinese oil, gas and petrochemicals companies in order to open new vistas of cooperation between the two countries in all oil, gas and petrochemicals fields.
The Minister and the Ambassador exchanged opinions regarding means capable of implementing what has been agreed between the two sides during that visit.
The Bahraini delegation visited China earlier in the above-said period and held a meeting on the same day in which the Kingdom of Bahrain's Ambassador to Beijing Dr. Anwar Abdullah participated.
