Dolphin Energy Qatar highlighted achievements of its Qatarisation Programme at its annual “Nationals’ Forum” held at La Cigale yesterday. Dolphin Energy general manager (Qatar) Adel Ahmed Albuainain, expressed his pride in winning the prestigious Qatarisation Award in the field of training and development earlier in the year. He congratulated those national employees who excelled over the year and lauded the efforts of the company to ensure it remained ahead of the annual Qatarisation target. “We were delighted and honoured to receive the Qatarisation Award from HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry in Qatar. It showed that we have made progress in a short space of time and distinguished ourselves in a highly competitive marketplace. “The previous 12 months has seen us continue to implement strategies that focus on the development of national talent, while adopting programmes that recruit and retain Qataris across the company. I am delighted to see that many of our national employees have followed the examples of others and taken the extra effort to excel,” Albuainain said. The forum highlighted the achievements by employees with a recognition award for those who have excelled over the last year. The first group of nationals was recognised for their outstanding GPA achievements while studying at the College of the North Atlantic; the second group of employees was awarded for coaching and training the national employees while ‘Nationalisation Championship Awards’ were distributed to those departments with the highest percentage of national employees.
