Egypt amends several petroleum deals

The cabinet approved amendment to a number of petroleum agreements for oil excavation in North Port Said, Balteem, Suez Gulf, Nile Delta and the Western Desert.
This came during a weekly meeting held on Wednesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
During the meeting, the cabinet also decided to continue marketing cotton this year in order to support the Egyptian farmer.
Mahlab directed the ministers of trade, industry, planning, investment and agriculture to meet with farmers to discuss the agricultural policy of Cotton.
