Electricity supply halted by a breakdown is resumed in Grozny, the Russian Emergencies Ministry's regional department told Itar-Tass. More than 116,000 people were left without electricity in the Chechen capital's Leninsky and Zavodskoi districts on Saturday. Repair teams were working to solve the problems, the head of the Emergencies Ministry's press centre in Chechnya, Timur Taisumov, told Itar-Tass earlier. All the socially important facilities where people remain for night were supplied with electric power from reserve sources. There were no reports about the cause of the breakdown.
