Mahlab attends signing of contract for installing power-saving lights in streets

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab attended on Wednesday a ceremony marking the signing of a contract between the Arab Organization for Industrialization (electronics factory) on one hand and the ministries of local development and electricity on the other.
The contract whose value, amounts to EGP 2.1 billion, prescribes importing and installing lights for illuminating key streets.
The new lights will replace the old sodium ones (400 watts) which consume power more than the new lights (150 watts).
