
Caretaker Electricity Minister Imad Khamis discussed Wednesday with Chinese Ambassador to Damascus Wang Kejian stalled contracts that were signed with Chinese companies and the means to overcome difficulties to implement them on time.
The Minister called on Chinese companies to participate in reconstructing the electricity sector in Syria.
Khamis affirmed Syria’s desire to develop relations with China and boosting cooperation in all fileds, particularly in the electricity sector which has the biggest amount of terrorist aggression and sabotage.
For his part, the Chinese Ambassador affirmed the depth of the relations between the two friendly countries and the need for developing them by cooperation in all fileds.
Kejian expressed hope that Syria will recover its security and stability soon.
