
Turkey’s crude oil imports in first six month dropped by 12 percent to around 9.3 million tons compared to same period of last year while diesel imports rose by 12 percent to about 1.5 millions tons, announced the Energy Marketing Regulatory Authority (EPDK) today.
According to EPDK’s report for July 2014, refineries’ total production of gasoline and diesel was around 957 tons and the production of total oil products was 1.7 million tons in first six months of 2014.
During the same period, gasoline exports dropped by 25 percent to about 1 million tons.
Refineries' production dropped by 11 percent to about 10 million tons in the first half of 2014 in comparison to the same period of last year.
The report also said that the 11 percent of transactions with credit cards in July 2014 are made in gas stations.
