Yemen and Japan electricity cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Electricity and Energy Abdullah al-Akwa met here on Monday with Japanese ambassador to Yemen Katsuyoshi Hayashi.
During the meeting, they discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries and the possibility of benefiting from the Japanese government's support to Yemen in the electricity field.
Al-Akwa and Hayashi also discussed the possibility of Yemen to benefit from the Japanese experience in generating electricity through solar energy.
The Japanese ambassador expressed his country's readiness to continue to support Yemen's development efforts, especially in the field of electricity.
