Cold, rainy weather expected till Thursday in Jordan

Cold and partly cloudy to cloudy weather with rainfall at times is expected on Tuesday morning.
In the afternoon a new depression centered over Cyprus is expected to affect the country with heavy rain in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom gradually extending to the other regions.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, rain at night is expected to be heavier accompanied by thunder at times while winds will be southeasterly to westerly moderate to brisk at times.
Another slight drop in temperatures is expected to prevail on Wednesday, creating cold and cloudy weather with heavy rain accompanied by thunder and hail at times in most regions while winds will be westerly brisk.
On Thursday, it will continue to be cold , cloudy and rainy in the northern, central and some eastern regions.
At night, light showers of rain are expected, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 13 degrees Celsius and a low 7 degrees.
