Cold, rainy weather forecast till Friday in Jordan

The Kingdom will be affected on Wednesday by a depression accompanied by a cold air mass centered over Cyprus; therefore, it will be cold and cloudy with heavy rain accompanied by thunder and hail in most parts of the Kingdom.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, winds will be westerly brisk with strong gusts at times.
On Thursday, the weather will remain chilly, partly cloudy to cloudy with rain in most regions while winds will be westerly moderate .
The weather will gradually stabilize at night and the JMD warns against fog formation at night and during the early morning hours.
Similar weather conditions will continue on Friday with a chance for scattered showers in the morning while winds will be northwesterly moderate.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 12 degrees Celsius and a low 7 degrees.
