
Provincial authorities in the Southwestern Province of Ilam have detained two Spaniards for illegal hunting after they were found with a captured alligator. Head of the Environment Protection Department of Ilam Province Gholam Hossein Kazzemi confirmed that the two Spanish were detained during a midnight ambush. Kazzemi said both were handed to judicial authorities since they were trespassing in an area that bans hunting and had captured a live alligator. He did not identify them.
