Volkswagen’s MQB platform is ready to show off its versatility. Volkswagen is planning the release of their next-generation Tiguan in 2015. The crossover, in a report from German mag Auto Motor und Sport, will apparently arrive with three possible body styles meant to show off the flexibility and versatility of the German automaker's MQB platform.Aside from the standard crossover there will be an XL version, roughly 22-inches longer than the former and with possible third row seating. A cross-coupe variant will also be made available as well. We expect the usual line-up of gasoline and diesel engines to power these new models, however a plug-in hybrid has been touted as a real possibility.Details are still vague at this point as to what will definitely make it to production from Volkswagen in 2015, however all three Tiguan versions seem like viable options at this point.
