Japanese tuning company Studie JP has delivered some impressive BMW models over the years, and their BMW Z4 GT3 could well be the pick of the bunch.BMW Motorsport began offering the Z4 GT3 to private teams back in 2010, giving them the chance to compete in domestic and international championships such as the FIA GT3 European Championship and the International GT Open, in addition to 24-hour endurance races. The first race of the 2012 Autobacks Super GT championships was recently held at Okayama International Circuit, and here Studie JP, a two-time series champion, finished the 300km-race in third and fifteenth place. The Z4 GT3 is powered by the same 4.0-liter V8 found in a M3, with power rated at around 480hp and sent to the tarmac via a sequential, six-speed transmission. Private teams get the benefit of innovative BMW solutions such as a modern ECU 408, and a Power400 control unit responsible for operating the actuators.
