
Dubai Police have tested a new environment-friendly electric motorbike at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). Colonel Abdul Qader Mohammed Al Banai, Director of Jebel Ali Police Station, who conducted the trial, said the motorbike would be used in patrolling closed and narrowed districts to support police mission in preserving security and delivering high-quality, real time services to community, traditional markets, shopping malls, historic sites and tourism attractions. He added that Dubai Police were toiling to create a safe, attractive, sustainable environment that is up to the UAE's prominent standing internationally in regard to conservation of the environment. He indicated that multi-mission, energy efficient green unit has undergone intensive tests and examination from Police engineers.
